A French Affair with Singapore

13 October 2005 - 30 November 2005

Some highlights:

- A huge tent will be set up outside Takashimaya from October 19 to October 23, with fashion shows (Jean-Paul Gaultier, Givenchy, Kenzo...), performances by Club Med, as well as booths of different French companies.

- Earth from Above, an exhibition by Yann Arthus-Bertrand, will be held along Orchard Road from October 27 to January 17 2006. (He has a book published as well, available at Kinokuniya and Borders. The photos are amazing!)

- 'The French Village', from October 19 to November 6, at Carrefour Plaza Singapura, front plaza. There will be samples of French gastronomy, cooking demonstrations, games etc., all associated with France. Lots of French wine and cheese too!

- The French Film Festival. Additional copies of the programme are available at SISTIC counters.
