What is petanque?
It is a french game where a small wooden ball, call the jack will be thrown first. Then the metal ball, call the bouze will be thrown as near to the jack as possible, n the team with their bouzes closes to the jack will win the game.

The competition date will be 28th July, 2007 (Saturday) at TOA PAYOH STADIUM.

NP French Club and NP Soleil will be doing a fund raising drive for Club Rainbow (A charity organisation committed to helping children suffering from chronic and life-threatening diseases) on the coming Wednesday to Friday(18-20 oct 06). Come visit our booth to donate funds to help in this meaningful cause. Do bring your friends down to support us. CCA FIXED POINT SYSTEM
It is my duty to inform you that...

The CCA "PEARLS " Grading System is revised to a Fixed Point System for the
Gold/ Silver/ Bronze Award Certificate .

That means, once you accumulate 36 points, you will get the Bronze Award. You can stop once you hit 72.

BRONZE - 36
SILVER - 48
GOLD - 72
